A light added in a bed is not only functional, but also aesthetically pleasing. Here are some samples of how you can add light to your bed and upgrade the overall look of your bedroom.
- LED lights under the bed frame
You don’t need to worry that the room will be too bright when you use beds with light. Try a bed with a strip of LED lights under the bed frame. The lights will not directly hit your face but simply glowing from under the bed. It will create a dim light that is sufficient for you to sleep.
- Built in lights on the head of the bed
Another place where you can incorporate a built-in light for your bed is by putting it on the head of the bed. This is also functional for a reading light too before you’re going to bed. Use a dim light so that it won’t be too bright for a bedroom.
- Lights on a platform bed
A big frame under the bed added with a setback frame will make the bed appear to float. When LED lights are built-in to the setback frame, you can make your platform bed looks way more dramatic as if it is floating on a cloud of lights.
- Blue lights under the bed
If white lights are too ordinary and too boring for you, try using blue lights instead! It will create a more futuristic atmosphere to your bedroom. The Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas use this concept which makes the room even more appealing!
- Put the bed into the ground
Another creative way to add lights to your bed is by creating a hole on the ground and put your bed in. Next, surround the bed with lights built-in on the floor around the bed. It will create an illusion as if your bed is sinking into the light.
